DIRECTIONS TO MAZATZAL HOTEL & CASINO ● PAYSON ARIZONA
The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is located on the south end of Payson, Arizona on Highway 87, also known as the Beeline Highway. The 38,000 square foot casino is located on Tonto Apache Tribal land with beautiful views of the Mazatzal Mountains and the Mogollon (MUG-ee'ahn) Rim. Mazatzal Casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Coming from the South, Phoenix/Valley of the Sun, SR-87 is easily accessed via Country Club Drive in Mesa, the Loop 202, McDowell Road, or Shea Boulevard. The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is about 90 miles from Phoenix in a picturesque drive.
Note: Coming from the south, once you pass the Verde River bridge there are NO gas stations until you reach the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.
Coming from the East, SR 260 carries you from the White Mountains about 90 miles to its intersection with SR 87 in the heart of Payson. Turn south (or left) through town to the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.
Coming from the North, Flagstaff & I-40, take I-17 South to Exit 287 (about 54 miles, you'll see a sign for SR-260, Cottonwood, Payson & AZ-89A) turn left on SR-260 and continue to SR-87 (about 34 miles), turn right on SR-87 & follow it to Payson (about 26 miles). The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is at the southern end of town, about 2 miles after you cross the SR-87 & SR-260 intersection. From South -
Go towards North on the beeline highway for approximately 75 miles. Once in Payson, continue on the beeline through 5 stoplights. We are located past the fifth stoplight on the right side of the road on the corner of the beeline highway and forest street.
From North -
From Flagstaff, turn left on lake Mary road. Follow Lake Mary road for approximately 45 miles and in Clints wells, turn right onto highway 87. Follow this going through Strawberry and Pine and onto Payson. Once in payson, the Best Western Payson Inn is located on the left side of the road on the corner of highway 87 and Forest Street.
From East -
From Holbrook, take highway 77 South to highway 377. Take a right on highway 377, go about 34 miles then take a right on highway 277. Once in Heber, take a right on highway 260. Take this into Payson approximately 54 miles. Once in Payson, take a right on highway 87. The Best Western Payson Inn is located 2 stoplights down on the corner of highway 87 and Forest Street.

From Flagstaff, turn left on lake Mary road. Follow Lake Mary road for approximately 45 miles and in Clints wells, turn right onto highway 87. Follow this going through Strawberry and Pine and onto Payson. Once in Payson, turn left onto Highway 260 East. The hotel is on the left side of the Highway next to Fargo's Steakhouse.

From Holbrook, take highway 77 South to highway 377. Take a right on highway 377, go about 34 miles then take a right on highway 277. Once in Heber, take a right on highway 260. Take this into Payson approximately 54 miles. Once in Payson, the hotel is on the right next to Fargo's.

Proceed approximately 1/2 mile on Longhorn. The classroom is on the left hand side of the road just past the McKane intersection.
From North -
From Flagstaff, turn left on lake Mary road. Follow Lake Mary road for approximately 45 miles and in Clints wells, turn right onto highway 87. Follow this going through Strawberry and Pine and into Payson. Turn right onto Longhorn at the East Highway 260 and Highway 87 intersection. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile on Longhorn. The classroom is on the left hand side of the road just past the McKane intersection.

Go towards North on the beeline highway for approximately 75 miles. Once in Payson, continue on the Beeline. Turn right onto East Highway 260. Proceed through town. Turn left at the sign for the Gila Community College (approximately 3 miles).
From North -
